Amy is a transport specialist AND our Elderwheels Scheduler! She helps Elsa behind the scenes when she isn't on the road. You may hear from her if you leave us a message.
Amy was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. She moved to Austin in 2000 in search of warmer weather.
After working in the travel industry, Amy returned to school to become a Physical Therapist Assistant in order to fulfill her dream of helping people. She has been doing just that for the past 10 years in primarily an outpatient clinic PT setting.
Amy lives with her husband and 4 year old daughter in South Austin, AND cares for her mom living nearby. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, traveling, hiking, barre and playing with her dog, Kaya.

When she is on the road you may see her drive up in "Dave," our newest accessible ramp van, a 2022 Chrysler Voyager. He has a lot of bells and whistles!
Dave the Van was named after our real client, who has ridden with Elderwheels for 4 years and has booked the most rides. (You can see his photo on our home page.) Dave and his wife, Jane, are like family to us!
