2022 CHRYSLER VOYAGER

Rear ramp access for wheelchairs (plus regular seats)

The "Dave" ramp van  joined the team in 2023, named after our client (Dave) who has ridden the most rides with Elderwheels! He is a 2022 Chrysler Voyager with a BraunAbility Rear-Entry ramp, the largest of our 3 minivans with more tech bells and whistles. Dave usually lives at transport specialist Amy's house.

2023 KIA SOULS

Ramped SUV and Ambulatory SUV

After our previous ambulatory vehicle "Susan" was totaled by an uninsured motorcyclist, Elsa shopped around for a smaller, more zippy replacement. In April 2024 she found it at Freedom Motors in Michigan!  Meet "Emily" (right), our 2023 Kia Soul compact SUV with a ramp (twice as expensive but worth it). We can fit most manual wheelchairs in her — making our fleet is more versatile!

In August 2024, we got a new new and improved ambulatory vehicle for clients who walk or just need a little assistance to sit up front. We can stow your chair in the trunk.  Meet "Adrienne" (left), also a zippy 2023 Kia Soul!
